I find the pop-up that appears when accepting a connection to be very well implemented. Launching the downloaded executable will let you connect without any further engagements: become the host by inviting another computer, or be a guest yourself. The implementation here is in itself a highlight, because users don’t necessarily have to go through the setup process to get started with everything. Should you consider it? I would argue it marries form and function by providing a program that is easy to pick up by anyone, which makes this a proposition at least worth taking into account. Of course, much of this would not be possible without competent software solutions, and luckily, we’re good on that front.ĪnyDesk is perhaps a name you’ll hear when looking up remote connection tools. All you’ll need is an app to use, a code to paste into said app, and perhaps a good enough latency for the connection. Connecting to a computer remotely is surprisingly accessible nowadays.
